The People Behind NCRWA

Supporting North Carolina’s Water Systems for 50 Years

The North Carolina Rural Water Association (NCRWA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening drinking water and wastewater systems across the state. Since 1976, we have supported rural and municipal utilities by providing the training, technical assistance, and resources they need to deliver safe, reliable water services to their communities.

For more than five decades, NCRWA has been a trusted partner to water professionals, helping ensure that North Carolina residents have access to clean water and effective wastewater management.

On July 16, 1976, the North Carolina Rural Water Association, Inc® (NCRWA) was incorporated as a non-profit corporation under the authority of the NC Secretary of State.
