FLAGGER TRAINING

What is Flagger Training?

NCRWA Flagger Training is provided in response to NCDOT requirements (more info) for personnel involved in traffic control practices along NCDOT right-of-ways. NCRWA is teaching a curriculum developed by the National Safety Council and is approved by the NCDOT as listed under the Safety and Health Council of NC. More information on NCDOT requirements can be found on the NCDOT website.

Questions regarding Flagger Training? Need a recertification class and do not see a training offered in your area? Contact NCRWA at 336-731-6963 or email training@ncrwa.org

Flagger Training does not offer continuing education credit for water or wastewater.

Classes will provide proper documentation for your records, allowing hours to be self-reported. Course evaluations for PEs may be submitted at https://www.ncbels.org/continuing-education/cpc-feedback/.

Professional Growth Hours for Engineers and Surveyors
Per the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors, pertaining to Professional Growth Hours (PGH's) The onus is on the licensee to make the determination of whether a course or activity has a purpose or objective that will maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s field of practice. If you have questions concerning PGH's, you should contact Martha Michalowski at mmichalowski@ncbels.org with the NC Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
We encourage and welcome all Engineers and Land Surveyors to consider NRWA training when possible, for your required hours, and welcome you to attend, and if interested, speak as well when and where applicable.
